Optimization of Sectionalizer to Improve the Electrical Distribution Reliability Index of Gunungsitoli Distribution Network
The distribution network in the Gunungsitoli area contributes to major problems, namely customer problems. Disturbances and deepening often occur due to operational failures and fallen trees. The Gunungsitoli electrical system is islanded because it has a different magnitude system from most systems in Indonesia, so a component is needed that can reduce the impact of the disturbance, namely a sectionalizer. In reducing the impact, system optimization is carried out with the bee colony algorithm which will be compared with non-algorithmic results. On the PT. PLN Gunungsitoli network. After optimizing the sectionalizer on feeders with low reliability levels, an increase in reliability was obtained, namely: GMW.02, SAIFI = 0.2966 (56.7%), SAIDI = 16.281 (38.6%), GN.04 feeder SAIFI = 0.121 (78.9%) SAIDI = 15.33 (30.4%), GMW.07 feeder SAIFI = 0.306 (28.1 %) and SAIDI = 15.144 (34%). The level of reliability of the distribution network at the three feeders of PT.PLN ULP Gunungsitoli meets the SPLN and the Sectionalizer works according to its function.
