Simulation and Verification of Navigation on Pilot Algorithm for Autonomous Driving

Built a software in the loop simulation and verification platform of navigation on pilot algorithm based on the tool chain of VTD, Carsim and Simulink, to solve the difficult problem of simulation and test of the algorithm, because the necessary input signal for the algorithm include complex and hard-to simulate high-definition maps and navigation signals. The simulation driving data from the simulation software and the map and navigation data generated by the map simulation program were used to activate the algorithm and make it run stably. Test cases and function evaluation indexes were designed for the four basic functions of the algorithm as cruise, vehicle follow, brake stop and lane change, and each use case was tested three times. The results show that the algorithm could stably control the vehicle to perform four basic functions, and all the operation data of the vehicle met the functional requirements of the algorithm.
