The Influence of Perceived Organizational Support and Organizational Virtuousness on Performance Mediated by Employee Well-Being in a Glass Packaging Beverage Company

Employee performance is crucial for producing quality products and services, crucial for an organization's survival and competitiveness. This study explores how perceived organizational support and organizational virtuousness impact performance, with a focus on the mediating role of employee well-being within a soft drink company. We employed a quantitative approach, using a questionnaire complemented by observations and interviews, distributed to all permanent employees.Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) software, SmartPLS version 4.1.0.3.The findings reveal that perceived organizational support does not directly affect performance (p-value 0.223).In contrast, employee well-being (p-value 0.000) and organizational virtuousness (p-value 0.021) directly influence performance. Moreover, employee well-being does not mediate the relationship between perceived organizational support and performance (pvalue 0.162), nor does it between organizational virtuousness and performance (p-value 0.242).The study concludes that while organizational support does not directly enhance performance, the presence of organizational virtuousness and employee well-being are significant direct contributors.
