Notes on the genus <i>Callitriche</i> (Plantaginaceae, Callitricheae)

This article brings together information concluding a global review of the taxonomy of the genus Callitriche . One new species; C. intricata sp. nov. from Madagascar is described, C. microcarpa is re‐established and the names C. occidentalis syn. nov. and C. tuerckheimii syn. nov. are assigned to synonymy with C. heterophylla .
