APLICAÇÃO DO SISTEMA DE PRODUÇÃO ENXUTA NA ÁREA ADMINISTRATIVA DA EMPRESA AREAL UNIÃO: UMA PROPOSTA DE MELHORIA CONTÍNUA

The aim of this study is to analyze and propose improvements for the administrative processes of the company Areal União, located in Mirante da Serra, Rondônia, through the application of the Lean Production System. The company faces challenges such as the lack of document centralization, internal communication difficulties, and material resource waste, which impact the efficiency of workflow processes. The implementation of Lean Office practices and the Toyota Production System aims to optimize these processes by eliminating waste and improving productivity. The study was based on the analysis of current workflows and the application of tools such as value stream mapping. The research involved conducting surveys and direct observations in the administrative department to identify key areas for improvement. It is expected that the adoption of lean practices will result in greater operational efficiency, reduced rework, and, consequently, increased competitiveness for the company.
