Finite groups with few average orders of subgroups

For a finite group G , we define X(G)=\{ o(H)\mid H\leq G\} , where o(H) is the average of all order elements in H . In this paper, we classify finite groups in which |X(G)|\leq 4 .

Abstract

For a finite group G , we define X(G)=\{ o(H)\mid H\leq G\} , where o(H) is the average of all order elements in H . In this paper, we classify finite groups in which |X(G)|\leq 4 .
