Novel technique and device for delivering correctly oriented preloaded DMEK grafts into anterior chamber without direct or indirect manipulations-first experience

Target. To present a new technique and device for delivering correctly oriented endothelium inverted preloaded DMEK grafts into the anterior chamber without additional manipulation. Material and methods. The study involved 4 patients with endothelial pathology. All patients underwent surgery using the new Transplant Ready DMEK Endo-In technology. Results. All descemet membrane grafts adhered immediately and no additional air injection was needed. The operations were completed without complications. Conclusion. The new technology of preloading the descemet membrane into a special device makes it possible to immediately deploy the graft into the correct position immediately, facilitates the surgeon’s work, and also significantly shortens the patient’s rehabilitation period. Keywords: endothelial pathology, endothelial keratoplasty, Transplant Ready DMEK Endo-In
