Development of Mapoint Learning Media in Grade 12 Statistics

The background of this research is based on the emergence of students' difficulties in understanding statistical material, and the lack of development of learning media related such material. The purpose of this research is to develop MAPOINT learning media on statistics material. This research utilizes Research and Development (R&D) research and development procedures by adapting the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The research took place at Senior High School no. 1 South Tangerang with 29 grade 12 students consisting of a small class of 4 and a large class of 25 and 1 math teacher as test subjects. The validation results of MAPOINT learning media on media aspects were 80.82%, material aspects are 96.67%, language aspects are 96.18% which means they are very valid. The results of the MAPOINT learning media trial in small classes showed a positive response from 4 subjects. The results of the MAPOINT learning media trial in large classes of 25 students obtained an average of 85.56% with very practical criteria, while one Mathematics teacher obtained an average of 98.08% with very practical criteria. The results of this study are expected to be useful for teachers, students, and researchers.
