A Wideband Miniaturized dB-Linear Millimeter-Wave Power Detector in 40-nm CMOS
This paper presents the design and validation of a high-performance power detection circuit using a 40 nm CMOS technology, achieving wide dynamic range, high sensitivity, and miniaturization for wideband applications. measurement results demonstrate effective operation over a frequency range of 2-40 GHz, with a minimum detectable power of −33 dBm, and an input range of $-33 \sim 10 \text{dBm}$. The circuit occupies $0.124 \ \text{mm}^{2}$ and consumes 3.85 mW of power.
