Performance Analysis of 5G Network Planning at 3.5 GHz in the Tanjung Priok Port Area using an Urban Macro Propagation Model
This study evaluates the performance of 5G radio frequency (NR) network planning using Atoll 3.4 software, focusing on the Tanjung Priok Port region at 3.5 GHz. Estimating the network coverage in the Tanjung Priok Port region, which covers a planning area of $17.426 \mathrm{~km}^{2}$, is the goal of this planning. The 3GPP TR 38.901 standard based UMa (Urban Macro) propagation model for downlink signals was used in the planning phase. Outdoor-to-outdoor ($\mathbf{O2O}$) line-of-sight (LOS) and outdoor-to-outdoor (O2O) non-line-of-sight (NLOS) are the two downlink design situations that are taken into consideration. SS-RSRP and SS-SINR are the two main parameters that are the subject of this study. The SS-RSRP downlink levels were found to be primarily within a specific range in the simulation results of the 020 LOS downlink scenario. The mean value of SS-RSRP parameter was 77.42 dBm. As for the SS-SINR parameter exhibits an average value of 10.01 dB, indicating that 80.393% of the total area under consideration is classified as having a normal value of SS-SINR, and the results of the non-line of sight (NLOS) outdoor-to-outdoor (O2O) scenario show a number of sites $\approx 2,475$ which makes planning in this scenario impossible.
