Bi-Directional Wireless Charging System Design Based on Three-Level T-Type
In order to solve the grid-connected demand of bi-directional wireless charging system and reduce the grid-side harmonic pollution when the Bi-directional wireless charging system is connected to the grid, a device structure combining the three-level T-type with the Bi-directional wireless charging system is proposed, and the three-level T-type AC-DC converter is used in the bi-directional wireless charging system, replacing the traditional two-level bi-directional converter. The three-level T-type has the advantages of small output harmonics and large power factor, and the combination of the three-level T-type with the bi-directional wireless charging system can better realize the forward and reverse transmissions. The combination of three-level T-type and bi-directional wireless charging system can better realize the forward and reverse transmission. Based on the grid-side three-level T-type bi-directional converter, the circuit structure, working principle, and key parameters design of the three-level T-type bi-directional converter are described. Finally, MATLAB/simulink is used to simulate and analyze the joint system, and the THD of the grid-side current is 1.13% and 2.24% when the grid is charging to the battery as well as the battery is feeding back to the grid, respectively. The simulation verifies the feasibility of the three-level T-type and bi-directional wireless energy transmission system and the correctness of the parameter design.
