Energy Management Strategy for a DC Micro-Grid system using FOPID Controller and POA Optimization Technique
This paper introduces a unique Energy management scheme (EMS) designed to improve the distribution of energy among photovoltaic (PV) systems, fuel cells (FC), and battery energy storage systems. The suggested approach seeks to close the gap between consumption and generation while simultaneously managing the voltage level of the DC bus. A newly developed Pufferfish Optimization Algorithm (POA) has been employed for optimizing the FOPID controller. The performance of the suggested EMS is assessed through simulations that regulate DC bus voltages under varying solar irradiation and load demand conditions.
