A High Linearity Driver with a Wide Common-Mode Voltage Range in 130-nm BiCMOS
This paper presents a high linearity and wide input common-mode voltage driver in 130-nm BiCMOS. The driver consisting of the level shifter, continuous time linear equalizer (CTLE), and output driver achieves a tunable peaking gain from 13.5 to 26.9 dB at 30 GHz. The proposed driver featuring wide range linearity enhancement technique achieves a minimum total harmonic distortion (THD) of −63.2 dBc at 5 GHz and a maximum THD of −48.8 dBc at 15 GHz with the input common-mode voltage ranges from 0.2 to 0.7 V.
