Applying Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for Data Base District Road Pavement Condition: A Case Study
The application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to the database of district road pavement conditions offers a robust and efficient method for monitoring and managing infrastructure. This study aims to model and analyze the condition of road pavements using GIS, incorporating various parameters such as damage type, severity, and location. By integrating spatial data and attribute information, the GIS platform facilitates comprehensive visualization and interpretation of pavement conditions. Validation of the system shows a high accuracy rate of 95%, with data verified from reliable sources. The GIS model significantly enhances decision-making processes, providing stakeholders with a clear and accessible tool for infrastructure management. The results demonstrate that GIS is an effective solution for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of road maintenance and rehabilitation strategies.
