Cutting-edge Technical Features and Hedonic Motivation: Keys for a Wonderful Journey in Virtual Museum

Virtual museums(VM) enabled by emerging technologies have solved the issues of space limited, time constraints, and insufficient human resources. This paper aims to use the technology acceptance model (TAM) measuring the impact of virtual museums on the professionalism of students in higher education, as well as their attitudes toward the use of these technologically assisted virtual museums. The TAM argues that system use is determined by behavioral intention, which is jointly determined by the demand and perceived usefulness. The demand is jointly determined by perceived usefulness and ease of use. A significant portion of research presents compelling arguments suggesting that students' learning attitudes can be influenced by new technologies, especially those employed in VM. This research highlights that sophisticated technical capabilities and hedonic motivation play crucial roles in the educational processes facilitated by VM.
