Adaptation of three-electrode arrhythmia simulators to four-electrode defibrillator monitors
Adaptation of three-electrode arrhythmia simulators to four-electrode defibrillator monitors q Dear Editor, Training in the diagnosis and treatment of life-threatening arrhythmias is an essential part of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) education. In CPR courses and workshops, mannequins and arrhythmia simulators are used for practical training in arrhythmia recognition and medical and electrical treatment, and these are connected to defibrillator monitors.Until recently, defibrillator monitors, mannequins, and arrhythmia simulators utilized three electrodes, which allowed interconnection between devices.
