Game Theory-Based Auction Approach for Resource Allocation in Grid Computing Using Microgrids
Grid computing leverages distributed resources to achieve higher performance and scalability in computing tasks. Efficient resource allocation in such systems is crucial for optimizing performance and cost. This paper explores the application of game theory-based auction mechanisms for resource allocation in grid computing, utilizing the concept of microgrids. Microgrids, with their localized and self-sufficient resource clusters, offer an innovative framework for resource management. We propose a game-theoretical auction model to allocate resources dynamically and efficiently. The proposed approach is validated through simulations, demonstrating improved resource utilization and reduced computational costs.
