Performance Evaluation of Trinary Source 9 Level Inverter (TS9LI) with SPWM Control
This paper presents a new approach to Trinary Source 9 Level Inverter (TS9LI). With the help of 10 switches and two uneven input sources the TS9LI generates nine levels. Trinary patterned DC connections are utilized by the TS9LI, which, in comparison to other sequences, offers the maximum voltage output level while utilizing a small amount of DC links and switches. Sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM) methods are utilized by the inverter. Moreover, this arrangement not only furnishes a negative level without requiring supplementary circuitry, such as an H-bridge, thereby subjecting the switches to reduced voltage stress. Less switching transitions are achieved by limiting every stage function to an aggregate of 3 switches, as opposed to the typical H-Bridge design. In comparison to existing setups, the recommended TS9LI architecture uses lesser quantities of switches, controller circuits, and input sources. MATLABSIMULINK is used to execute the simulations. Specifically, the BVFPWM and BAPODPWM techniques provide outputs with significantly less distortion, but BCOPWM produces an output with a considerably larger RMS voltage at the output.
