MIMO-OFDM 2x2 STBC Alamouti Simulation Analysis
The wireless communication system of the future aims to support high-quality services and data reliability and have speed in data transmission. This study discusses flat fading that occurs in a canal. Flat fading occurs when a radio signal undergoes an even change in a frequency spectrum, this is due to the influence of interference or signal reflection. One of the technologies used to overcome flat fading uses the Multiple Input Multiple Output – Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) method which can be integrated with Alamouti’s Space Time Block Code (STBC). The purpose of this study is to improve the performance of the MIMO-OFDM STBC Alamouti communication system in BER. This study simulates the use of Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK) and Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) modulation in MIMO-OFDM STBC Alamouti communication by comparing no diversity communication and obtaining results in the form of Bit Error Rate and Energy per bit to Noise power spectral density ratio ($\mathbf{E b} / \mathbf{N o}$). This communication comparison shows that MIMO-OFDM STBC Alamouti is better than no diversity. The next validation of the research is the channel coefficient used in MIMO and the number packet used
