Impact of Resonant Frequency Shifting in CSRR-based C-Band Wave Absorber Under Various Capacitive Loading Conditions
This paper discusses the impact of resonant frequency shifting in Circular Split Ring Resonator (CSRR)-based C-band wave absorber in altering short-circuit and capacitive loading conditions. The basic model of a CSRR-based C-band wave absorber consists of double-ring resonators, which are split with four different gaps on each resonator. The model is evaluated with four short circuit conditions and conditionally loaded with capacitive components related to the condition of the short circuit. The short circuit combinations have resonant frequencies of 5.35 GHz, 6.00 GHz, 4.60 GHz, and 5.65 GHz with the respective scenario, while by installing capacitive loading, the resonant frequency shifts from 5.00 GHz to 4.65 GHz.
