Design and Implementation of Commercial 2.45GHz Wireless Power Transmission System for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)

A Microwave-Based Wireless Power Transmission (WPT) system was developed to enhance UAVs' operational capabilities during emergencies. It includes an RF power generator and an integrated antenna design combining RLSA and conical horn elements. Measurements showed optimal antenna parameters: S11-32.669, VSWR near 1.098, and 17.32 dB gain. The system achieved an output power of 510.505Watts from the RF generator and 4197.5898 dB with the integrated antenna. The system can transmit up to 11.5dBmAdditionally, it safely transmitted power at 0.0645 mW/cm2 around the antenna, below the 5 mW/cm2 human exposure limit.
