Study on Performance of Various Cooling Channels of Superconductor Solar Photovoltaic Photothermal Collector (PVT)
This study uses a combination of super heat pipes and ethylene glycol as a thermal conductive working fluid to solve key problems such as heavy building loads caused by PVT and the easy rupture of PVT water pipes in winter. The main goal is to combine super heat pipe technology with phase change material ethylene glycol as a new method to reduce roof loads and uneven heating on the surface of solar panels. The performance of this PVT is evaluated using three statistical indicators: COP, wind resistance, and weight per unit area. The results show that the PVT proposed in this paper has a high COP, and this method significantly improves the performance of PVT, with COP=6.9 and a weight per unit area of 50kg/m2. In addition, the PVT proposed in this article exhibits excellent wind resistance performance, with a static wind bearing capacity of 1650pa with fixtures, equivalent to 16.5KN/m2 when converted to wind pressure. The proposed PVT significantly outperforms traditional methods in improving COP and reducing roof loads.
