Analysis of the Coordination and Optimization Configuration of Park Micro-Grid based on COA Optimization Algorithm
Distributed energy resources (DERs), aligning with the goals of “carbon neutrality and carbon peaking,” have been widely applied for coordinated and integrated microgrids incorporating wind, solar, and storage systems. Optimizing these microgrids is crucial for investment decisions and revenue enhancement, despite the relatively high costs associated with electrochemical energy storage. This study establishes an economic evaluation index model to address the coordinated and optimal allocation of wind, solar, and storage resources within park-based microgrids. The model facilitates economic assessments across various microgrid topologies and configurations, providing insights into the economic benefits of diverse setups. Utilizing the long-nosed raccoon optimization algorithm, this research identifies economically optimal regulatory frameworks for wind, solar, and storage integration. Initially, economic indices for integrated wind-solar-storage microgrids are estimated, leading to the construction of an economic optimization model. The model is applied to determine optimal allocation schemes for microgrids under different topologies, which are then solved using the COA algorithm. Finally, the study enhances the model by incorporating time-of-use (TOU) tariffs, optimizing power purchase strategies at lower rates and thereby establishing a coordinated optimization model for photovoltaic (PV) storage under TOU tariffs.
