Quality Evaluation for Practical Skill Training for College Students Based on Entropy with Gray Relational Analysis
Nowadays, the rapid growth of Internet Technology (IT) and information systems leads to a flow in digital creation. As it is necessary to integrate into educational settings to enhance teaching and learning experiences, improving students' practical abilities, the paper proposes a method for evaluating the quality of practical skills training for college students. In existing, Single Factor Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation (SFFCE) is utilized, but accuracy is reduced with assignment of subjective weights. To overcome this problem, Entropy with Gray Relational Analysis (Entropy-GRA) is proposed to eliminate the subjective weights. Initially, the input is produced with Delphi method according to questionnaire manner with panel experts. Then, the entropy method is introduced to evaluate the weights of factors and removes the subjective weights. The entropy method utilizes the data itself to determine the weights, making the process more reliable. Finally, GRA method is employed to construct a matrix that measures the degree of similarity between the evaluation index and the ideal solution. From the results, the proposed Entropy-GRA achieved outperforming results when compared to existing Student Skill Evaluation (SSE) is done with domain grades as excellent, good and poor for factors including technical skills as 65.2, 18.5, 0.3, mental toughness as 76.2, 5.4, 0.6 and physical fitness as 78.9, 10.8, 0.2, tactical awareness as 72.6, 5.2, 1.5 respectively.
