Fast-track approaches to integrate 4D seismic data and reservoir simulation models

This work discusses two novel approaches, recently proposed by our research group, that boost the integration of 4D seismic data and dynamic reservoir models. While the traditional procedures are known to be time-consuming and challenging, our methodologies, based on machine learning techniques, offer a prompt and efficient way to link 4D seismic data with reservoir models. We present the key concepts of these innovative approaches and discuss their application to a Brazilian field of the Campos basin.
