This paper discusses the barriers and opportunities for accessing climate finance for sustainable transport projects in low- and middle-income countries, based on analysis of 839 projects and 14 case studies across Asia, Africa, and Latin America, and offers recommendations to improve finance flows, build project capacity, and enable low-carbon and resilient mobility solutions.
