Framework for Designing Learning Activities to Manage the Risk of Failure in e-Learning Courses
In this paper, we present a new framework for designing learning activities that integrate risk management into course design decisions. The framework leverages the Backward Design principles to provide a structure of the design process which feeds the risk management process by determining in advance the data representing student effort and may be considered as potential risk indicators.
