Scientific and practical approaches to the formation of the concept of effective use of feed from oilseeds
Purpose. To develop scientific and practical approaches to the formation of the concept of effective use of the oilseeds feeds obtained from the processing of seeds at domestic processing enterprises in feeding farm animals and poultry. Methods. Laboratory, technological, zootechnical and statistical. Results. The state of production and processing of the main oilseeds – sunflower, soybean and rapeseed in Ukraine is analyzed. There is a steady tendency to increase both their production and processing. The high feeding value of the cake obtained from the processing of domestic varieties of the main oilseeds was noted. Advantages and disadvantages of sunflower, soybean and rapeseed meal as feed ingredients of concentrated feeds are determined. Effective methods of processing sunflower, soybean and rapeseed feeds before use have been determined. Recommended levels of introduction of sunflower, soybean and rapeseed meal into rations of animals and poultry are given. Conclusions. Scientific and practical approaches to the formation of the concept of effective production and use of secondary products for processing oilseeds have been developed, which include the analysis and determination of optimal methods for processing oilseeds, methods for improving feed produced from them and methods for their use in feeding farm animals and poultry. At the same time, modern effective methods of processing oilseeds into oil and meal and cake are analyzed and determined. The most optimal ways of preparing feeds from oilseeds for feeding animals have been analyzed and determined. Norms of introduction of rapeseed, sunflower and soybean cake and meal into rations of animals and poultry are generalized.
