Semantic context modeling and extraction with extended, augmented, or virtual reality, for the digital representation of a historical or archaeological monument
This article belongs to the semantic context modeling and extraction electronic document category. Through the analysis, we present the conceptual mapping and modeling of data as it should be collected and studied before a digital construction using virtual and augmented reality. More specifically, we address the goals of conceptual mapping as an approach to the object of study, and the processes of modeling the digital fabrication with state machine diagrams of the Unified Model Design Language. The added value of the article is about the critical issue of de-identification through qualitative and quantitative assessment of a work's data in terms of the initial conceptual mapping of representation mechanisms, as well as the process of modeling what data must be collected and studied for a digital mechanism or interactive construction as a very first step for the realization of a historical or archaeological monument.
