We report a case of arteriovenous malformation (AVM) of the scalp with the aim of studying the contribution of cerebral CT angiography in the diagnosis. It was a young lady of 20 years old, seen in May 2023 for morphological assessment of an AVM of the skull. On clinical examination, the patient presented at the top of her head with a soft, pulsatile, throbbing, painless swelling with no palpable defect below. This was associated with frontal venous dilation and temporal murmur. Cerebral and cervical CT angiography confirmed the diagnosis of AVM of the left paramedian parietal scalp and identified the arterial afferents (the bilateral carotid artery) and the venous efferents (the bilateral external jugular vein and the median frontal vein). Due to the inadequacy of the technical platform and the patient's lack of financial means, the course of action to be taken was to abstain from treatment. Cranioencephalic and cervical angio-CT is a technique with high sensitivity in the diagnosis of AVM of the scalp and contributes to its management.

Due to the inadequacy of the technical platform and the patient's lack of financial means, the course of action to be taken was to abstain from treatment. Cranioencephalic and cervical angio-CT is a technique with high sensitivity in the diagnosis of AVM of the scalp and contributes to its management.
