Welcome Message from the ICNP 2024 General Chairs

We would like to extend a warm welcome to all conference attendees and readers of the peer-reviewed Proceedings of the IEEE International Conference on Network Protocols (ICNP) 2024. The conference takes place at the University of Mons, in the CampusUCharleroi located in the beautiful city of Charleroi, Belgium, from October 28 to October 31, 2024. The event is held in person and features the main conference and workshops, demos, and poster presentations, including many distinguished, emerging, and starting researchers in the field. The conference also offers a welcome reception in the large hall of the CampusUCharleroi and a banquet in the historical site of Bois du Cazier. We extend our appreciation to all attendees who have traveled from near and far to make the conference a success. We would like to especially thank our keynote speaker Clarence Filsfils for his presentation on how IPv6 Segment Routing and IPM change modern networks.
