Sustainable Photovoltaic System Integration for Urban Transit
As time goes on and demand for power rises daily, fossil fuels and conventional electricity sources become less and less viable. Developing countries such as Pakistan have the option to import gas and oil to generate energy in order to deal with a power deficit. Solar power generation is one of the most widely available and reasonably priced forms of renewable energy in the world. The technique employed to capture the available energy and the surrounding conditions have an impact on the performance of photovoltaic (PV) cells. Due to its solar band position at 33.9978°N latitude, 71.4887°E longitude, and elevation of 373 m, the proposed location in Pakistan’s Peshawar BRT Project that receives an average of 310 days of sunshine annually. PVSyst software is used to build and estimate the JinkoSolar 410Wp, 36V, 6874 kW Inverter Sungrow solar model cell performance research for an 80 MWp DC into 68.74 MWp AC load, for the suggested geographical location. Both the energy input into the grid and the different losses that occur within the system are examined; PV array selection and other parameters are also chosen for the proposed research; and the method of using an adjustable tilt angle to reduce losses has been put into practice. This study will help with the planning and forecasting of solar energy production for the same photovoltaic system on rooftops of other city metro stations, and it will make it easy to exchange all of the neighboring PV system components in Pakistan.
