Space–time decay rates of a nonconservative compressible two–phase flow model

This paper concerns the space–time decay rates of strong solution to a nonconservative compressible two–phase flow model in the whole space R3. Based on the previous temporal decay results, it is shown that the space–time decay rate of k(0 ≤ k ≤ N)–order spatial derivative of the strong solution in weighted Lebesgue space Lγ2 is t−34−k2+γ for any integer N ≥ 2. The methods mainly involve delicate weighted energy estimates and interpolation tricks.

Abstract

This paper concerns the space–time decay rates of strong solution to a nonconservative compressible two–phase flow model in the whole space R3. Based on the previous temporal decay results, it is shown that the space–time decay rate of k(0 ≤ k ≤ N)–order spatial derivative of the strong solution in weighted Lebesgue space Lγ2 is t−34−k2+γ for any integer N ≥ 2. The methods mainly involve delicate weighted energy estimates and interpolation tricks.
