Two-stage phase unwrapping algorithm based on a phase correlation technique
This paper presents a two-stage phase unwrapping algorithm based on a phase correlation technique. The algorithm utilizes a phase reliability map and phase correlation map to determine the first-stage mask area and the second-stage mask area, respectively. The incorporation of the correlation technique enhances the clarity and accuracy of the areal delineation; then, the quality map algorithm and Itoh's algorithm are used sequentially for unwrapping in different mask areas. The algorithm effectively avoids the accumulation of path errors. The result of the simulation and experiment shows that the algorithm can perform high-precision phase unwrapping for significant noise and small-sized deformation areas.
