This research investigates teachers’ perceptions and challenges regarding online teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic, utilizing quantitative research methodology. Results revealed three primary factors significantly impacting teachers’ perceptions of online teaching. While teachers generally held favorable attitudes toward online teaching methods for language instruction, key challenges included limited interaction between teachers and students, internet instability, and insufficient computer skills for navigating online teaching platforms. Overall, teachers acknowledged the numerous benefits of online teaching methods compared to traditional classroom approaches. However, issues such as interaction limitations and technical difficulties considerably compromised the quality of online teaching.
