Exploring the Fabrication of Pioneering Tandem Solar Cell by Integrating Dye-Sensitized and Sb2S3-Sensitized Solar Cells
Tandem solar cells have potential and have recently shown immense growth due to their higher power conversion performance. A pioneering, bifacial tandem solar cell is designed and fabricated by integrating a dye-sensitized solar cell with an antimony trisulfide (Sb2S3)-sensitized solar cell. The developed tandem solar cell revealed a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 10.60% with a current density of 26.99 mA/cm2 through bifacial illumination. The DSSC part of the tandem solar cell demonstrated 8.76% PCE, whereas the Sb2S3-sensitized solar cell part exhibited 2.37% PCE.
