Aortic Root Dilatation in Children With End‐Stage Kidney Disease on Regular Hemodialysis and After Kidney Transplantation

ARD is prevalent among ESKD children, with furthermore prevalence in HD than in KT patients. Younger age, lower BMI Z-scores, hypertension (HTN), and increased Ca × Ph are risk factors for ARD. Aortic root measures and ARD frequency decrease on ≥ 6-month follow-up of patients.
