Bioindication and chemical analysis of water from the River Poluy in Salekhard (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug) near an industrial plant

Water and chironomid larvae samples were collected from 3 sites in the Poluy River in Salekhard (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area) near an industrial plant. The water was chemically analysed for petroleum products and metals (iron, manganese). Caught larvae were taxonomically identified and morphometrically analysed (body length and head capsule width).
