Corpul tău este un câmp de bătălie/your body is a battleground – fațete ale artei feministe (de la sfârșitul anilor ʼ60 până în prezent)

The article aims at presenting a series of feminist artists of the last fifty years – Juanita McNeely, Judy Chicago, Gina Pane, Barbara Kruger, Marni Kotak, Jenny Saville – as well as the Group Guerilla Girls and the #MeToo movement. For all of them the body – someone else’s or their own – played an important role in their works of art. In order to shake up society, they used new artistic means like performance and installation as well as new topics. Some of them performed art on their own bodies, breaking taboos and going beyond socially accepted barriers.
