A Bivariate Lognormal Approach to Modeling Prolactin Secretion in Healthy Adults
In this study, we used lognormal distributions, known for their effectiveness in decision sciences, applying a "standardized" form that can also extend to multivariate lognormal distributions. Our focus was on prolactin (PRL) concentrations in healthy individuals, specifically examining gender differences while controlling for factors like employment history, sleep patterns, emotional stress, and medication. The results indicate a correlation between PRL concentrations in men and women, analyzed with an appropriate mathematical model.
