Abstract

The article analyzes important challenges in the professional activity of teachers, including: constant confirmation of qualifications, obstacles to the introduction of pedagogical innovations, lack of trust in the teaching profession, constant inspections, pressure from parents and educational authorities, lack of cooperation between teaching teams in schools, and increasing problems in the organization of the educational process, which are not always effectively resolved, lack of motivation due to insufficient salaries, low enrollment in pedagogical specialties, ineffective professional development system, expansion of artificial intelligence, etc. Attention is focused on the problem of teacher burnout and the need to maintain a passion for the profession, which implies the joy of success, the ability to overcome failures, because such a teacher is not satisfied with humility, inertia or criticism of others, but is looking for real opportunities and tools for professional development. Analyzing the essence of the category “engagement” and “passion” in the professional context, the author emphasizes that the appropriate perception of the teacher’s profession is formed by students, pupils, but at the same time, the teacher must form his or her own professional consciousness, developing intellectual potential, emotionality, and collaborating with colleagues. It has been found that the use of innovations in pedagogical activity involves not only technical application, but also reflection, dialogue, and comprehension of the capabilities of relevant educational technologies. It is proved that each teacher's passion for his or her profession contributes to the creation of an emotional, exciting educational environment of the school, which should be based on creative interaction, communication, partnership, awareness of the value of relationships, etc.
