Study on the Method of Parameter Simulation Analysis and Optimization Design for the Aerothermal Deicing System of Wind Turbine Blades

Based on the wall structure of the wind turbine blade and the characteristics of the external flow field, combined with the analysis of the surface energy exchange process of the wind turbine blade under anti-ice conditions, the zonal equivalent heat conduction model of the rotating wind turbine blade is established. Based on this model, the air outlet volume, air outlet temperature, ambient temperature, humidity and wind speed of the air-heat deicing system are simulated and analyzed. Meanwhile, air-heat deicing tests are carried out on the prototype blades on the ground and the actual blades in the operation of the mountain wind farm. Based on the simulation and test results, an optimization design method for the gas-thermal deicing system of wind turbine blades is proposed. The research indicates that the gas-thermal system can exert a notable heating effect on the blade surface, mainly manifested at the interface between the upper and lower shells, near the hot air inlet close to the wind deflector, and the beam-joist area corresponding to the web channel. The surface temperature of the blade shows an upward trend with the increase in the inlet temperature and air volume of the gas-thermal system of the wind turbine blade. For increasing the air volume of the gasthermal system, the influence degree is greater. The external environmental temperature and the average temperature of the blade surface exhibit a relatively standard linear relationship. The external environmental wind speed and relative humidity have a minor impact on the average temperature of the blade surface. When optimizing the air-heat deicing system of wind turbine blades, simulation analysis should first be carried out to obtain the maximum temperature limit at the air outlet, and while maintaining the temperature, the air volume should be increased as much as possible. This method holds practical significance for specific engineering projects.
