Developing Control Strategies to Enhance Power Quality in Grid-Connected Natural Gas Pressure Differential Generation Systems: Advancing Clean Energy Practices
Natural gas differential pressure power generation systems can convert pressure energy into electrical energy during the natural gas pressure regulation process, playing a crucial role in advancing clean energy development. This paper outlines the system scheme for natural gas differential pressure power generation and involves selecting and modeling the main equipment. To address power fluctuations under varying operating conditions, control strategies for the machine-side converter, grid-side converter, and DC-DC converter are proposed to mitigate power fluctuations to enhance the power quality in the natural gas differential pressure power generation system. Simulation results demonstrate that these control strategies effectively suppress power fluctuations during system operation changes, validating the effectiveness of the proposed control strategies.
