Transición generacional docente en una universidad pedagógica: análisis de factores motivacionales y del desempeño laboral

This study sought to analyze the impact of motivational factors on the job performance of generational replacement teachers at a pedagogical university in Honduras. A quantitative study was conducted in which two variables were analyzed: motivation and job performance. For this purpose, an online questionnaire was administered to generational replacement teachers, followed by statistical analysis using SPSS, based on non-parametric tests and Spearman's correlation coefficient. The results showed that there is a positive relationship between motivation and job performance, but it is low (rho 0.067). However, it is evident that teachers' job performance is impacted by organizational culture (0.272*) and work climate (0.271*), reflecting more on task performance (0.363*) and adaptive performance (-0.452*). Similarly, it has been proven that job stability and economic remuneration are not always determining predictors of good job performance.
