Diabetes Mellitus type 1 is an autoimmune disease, where the beta cells of the pancreas that produce insulin are destroyed, making it necessary for the patient to receive insulin externally. Additionally, you should lead a healthy lifestyle: balanced diet, exercise and adequate hydration, to keep your glucose levels within the range recommended by your doctor. Currently, there have been many technological advances for the monitoring and control of Type 1 Diabetes that allow greater accuracy and less hypoglycemia. Here we present a website and a mobile application that allow you to record the number of carbohydrates in food, pre-prandial and post-prandial glucose, insulin applied, mood, menstrual period, hydration, exercise performed, among others, and generate reports, graphs and alerts to establish patterns that prevent hypoglycemia and keep the patient in range for a longer time.
