A genre book of poems in the Russian poetry of the late 20th century (based on the works of G. Sapgir)
The article is devoted to the study of the artistic specifics of the genre book of poems in Russian poetry at the end of the 20th century on the example of G. Sapgir’s work. The purpose of the study is to identify the poetological features of the genre book of poems in G. Sapgir’s poetry. The scientific novelty of the work is determined by the fact that it comprehensively examines the author’s strategies for creating a genre poetry book in the creative practice of a modern poet. As a result, it has been established that in Russian poetry, a genre book of poems vividly demonstrates the process of genre synthesis. In this regard, the books of poetry by G. Sapgir are the most representative his “Sonnets on Shirts” (1989) demonstrates a synthesis of the classical genre with the features of epistles, elegies, ballads, and other poetic forms. Using the techniques of poetic play, language experiments; focusing on the aesthetics of "emptiness", the author reveals the semantic potential of language, actualizing the role of co-creation of the author and the reader. The main trends in the development of the epigram genre in modern poetry are demonstrated by G. Sapgir’s book of poetry “The FACES OF SOTSA” (1990), which synthesizes genre markers of epigrams, ditties, and jokes, which emphasizes the folklore basis of the book and its focus on the general reader. The formal side of the book: the headline complex, the artistic design, the introduction of slogans and quotations from Soviet newspapers; the abundance of reduced, colloquial vocabulary, parody, – are designed to convey the absurdity of the political system of the end of the 20th century.
