Features of Vocabulary Teaching and the Effectiveness of Interactive Methods in Enhancing Communication Skills

Language is primarily regarded as a means of communication. Based on this, one of the main goals of teaching a foreign language is the formation of communicative competencies necessary for successful socialization and self-realization in a modern multicultural context. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to involve the latest educational technologies to enhance learning motivation and improve learning outcomes. The article evaluates the effectiveness of these methods in terms of developing language skills, stimulating student activity, and improving understanding of educational material. It also analyzes the advantages of gamification, such as individualizing the process of learning, creating motivation through a game format, as well as increasing the level of student involvement in the learning process. The results of the study allow us to identify the optimal strategies for teaching vocabulary using game elements, the latest technologies, and innovative methods, which can be crucial in developing modern educational programs for teaching foreign languages. In conclusion, the article recommends broad implementation of interactive methods and gamification into the educational process to make it effective and motivating.
