Congratulations to Robert Schalkenbach Foundation on 100 Years

After 100 years in existence, the Robert Schalkenbach Foundation (RSF) Board of Trustees has unanimously voted to adopt a new name for the Foundation, one that more accurately reflects its mission and influence. Effective on January 1, 2025, RSF will be known as The Progress and Poverty Institute. Henry George's seminal work is not only the intellectual foundation of the organization's mission but also a call to action. The name change represents a renewal of our commitment to be a leading voice in the fight for an equitable economy. The new name represents where progress is not achieved at the cost of rising poverty, but where the benefits of economic growth are shared by all. The Progress and Poverty Institute is a momentous occasion for us. As we celebrate our centennial year, we are both proud of our past and eager to step boldly into the future. This change allows us to better communicate our mission, broaden our reach, and reaffirm our commitment to economic justice. The Progress and Poverty Institute, formerly RSF, provides research, outreach, and community-level interventions that promote economic, social, and environmental justice.
