Single-Ended to Differential Fully-Integrated LNA for Low Voltage Supply Applications
This paper presents a modified single-ended to differential 6-GHz low-noise amplifier (LNA) topology focused on low-voltage supply applications, working on RF/MW frequencies. The LNA is fully integrated in silicon (all its inductors are on-chip) with a minimum number of transistors, and whose power gain is boosted by applying load inductors. The search for promising designs is carried out using the <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$g_{m}/I_{D}$</tex> technique, yielding a set of designs with excellent differential gain, low noise figure, and good differential signal quality.
