Design of a Simple Aircraft Residual Current Device Control Logic

The paper presents a brief description of aircraft electrical protection devices, especially residual current devices (ground fault interrupters). The aim was to create a testbed for residual current device testing and current flow monitoring. Based on the results obtained from testbed, authors propose a simple control logic for residual current breaker in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment.

Abstract

The paper presents a brief description of aircraft electrical protection devices, especially residual current devices (ground fault interrupters). The aim was to create a testbed for residual current device testing and current flow monitoring. Based on the results obtained from testbed, authors propose a simple control logic for residual current breaker in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment.
